Since graduating from the University of Chester last year in Fine Art, I have been working hard to make my design dreams come true. During my degree I realised that my passion for fashion was becoming more and more overpowering as every art project I did linked to textiles and fashion in some way. Art is still important to me and my journey as a designer shows evidence of my two loves linking together. I started getting involved with anything fashion related as soon as I finished my course, as I know my heart yearns for a career in the industry. I know I need lots of experience to get where I want to be but I have the determination to do so. I learn new things about the work I am doing every day so I hope you will enjoy the journey with me.

GOGAIRY HAND PAINTED LEATHERS
From working in education and the arts Richard Gair felt it was the time to go it alone and start his own business, firstly painting murals with students and young people in schools, Youth clubs and other public venues.Unfortunately, due to deteriorating health, he could no longer travel the distances required and it became necessary to work from home.
Remembering his projects at university, he began producing artwork for bands and their fans: particularly leather jackets. Able to design jackets to order, he took advice and started GoGairy Hand Painted Leathers.
After a combined Kidney and Pancreas transplant in 2017 he saw the potential in employing several artists to keep up with demand.
GoGairy is now looking to expand further in supplying various outlets, producing work for film and TV as well as create artwork for other designers and jackets designed to order.

In an age of social awakening when women are openly calling out body shaming, its time to put a stop to the hindrance on our right to sexual expression and self-acceptance. Phoenix del Barrio is an up and coming swimwear company determined to deliver empowerment through fashion. Fashion designer, Hana Zeidman and Entrepreneur, David Stienberg bring together the urban grit of the “barrio” lifestyle into which they were born with the personification of feminine strength.
Lets talk about the purposeful segregation of plus size swimwear in the fashion industry because no one else is. Phoenix del Barrio is on a mission to throw out the idea that sexy has size restrictions. The company is jumping off with four lines, each of which is designed for a different style of woman while also catering to an expansive range of sizes.
