Starting as a home based nail tech, Sarah’s career has flourished and she has worked in all aspects of the beauty industry. For the past 9 years Sarah has dedicated her life to teaching and supporting students, creating award winning technicians that run extremely successful salons and beauty businesses. Sarah then took her career to a whole new level by opening The Creative Beauty Group North West based in Liverpool. Sarah has worked in all aspects of the beauty industry from styling the nails of A-list celebs including Victoria Beckham, The cast of Glee, backstage for ITV & Cheryl Cole to creating those iconic Olympic Flag nails. Sarah's competition winning work can often be seen in magazines such as Scratch Magazine, Professional Beauty & The Guild. She is also a Monthly Beauty Columnist for Liverpool Lifestyle Magazine & her work can also be seen in magazines across the globe such as American Vogue. Andrew Joseph Manion the owner of the Company Andrew Joseph Manion Hairdressing. Has been hairdressing over 10 years and it is a big passion in his life, After qualifying in 2004 he moved from salon to salon trying to find his place within the industry, after a few years in the UK he ended up in France from 2008-2011.
He then moved back from France and after working in a number of salons he decided to open his own. After having the first studio in Mossley Hill from 2012 and within 12 months he needed a bigger premises. He has now been in his Old Swan salon for 17 months, they pride themselves on there relaxed and very friendly atmosphere, extreme professionalism and high standards of hair dressing.
After entering the L'Oreal colour Trophy 2014 and again this year and placing as a regional finalist both times they are starting to make a name for themselves as one of the city's and the UK's leading salons.
He then moved back from France and after working in a number of salons he decided to open his own. MICHAEL PERKS MAKE UP
Michael has played pivotal roles for well-known cosmetic & leading make-up companies. Michael grew up in the North West before his business and successful working career lead him to be at the top of his game in his area. The view of taking his career as a professional make-up artist to the next level has rapidly grown over the years. Since studying Theatrical Make-Up for TV and Film, Michael has gained 4 years’ experience in the make-up industry, working with celebrities creating looks for fashion shows in Liverpool and the North West and directing campaigns for well-known beauty brands. He has 2 years’ experience teaching make-up artistry and continues to share his professional knowledge to this day. Michael has worked on a variety of different artistry styles from commercial; Film and TV work to more avant garde work within theatre and body painting. Today through Michael’s impressive creative portfolio, he was invited to come on board as Head of Make Up Artist at Manchester Fashion Week 2015 which is becoming the fastest growing beauty and fashion event outside of London. Michael says he is excited to work with grounded and driven people to make the production flow as well as it can.

MARTIN QUIRK -music director
Martin Quirk is a 25 year veteran DJ of the Liverpool and North West club scene. His musical background as a jazz and funk bass player goes back even further to the Liverpool and London live music scenes of the early 80s. Never one to favour the idiot-proof beat-matching technology of today’s laptop generation, Martin honed his mixing skills live and in situ, establishing places like the legendary Baa Bar in the early 90s and entertaining Cream’s extremely clued-up pre-club audiences. Since ‘going digital’ and branching out into music production he now includes many of his own remixes, mash ups and edits into his extremely funky and beautifully eclectic sets. Quirk also writes an entertaining and engaging nightlife column for Lifestyle Monthly and has also been published by Sabotage Times and The Guardian on subjects as diverse as Scouse jazz legend, George Melly and Italian footballers.
